The Essence of Sisterhood..

How Do You Walk?



Black Women of Essence, Incorporated and Delta Rho Sorority, Incorporated hosted its 1st Sisterhood Summit in an effort to have a panel discussion comprised of 8 women from various organizations (sororities and community organizations) to discuss how we as women can overcome the stigma of disunity among one another.

With audience participation there was an open discussion on Uniting as Sisters and working together to service our communities.



The panelist discussed their individual roles as women and the challenges associated with being in an all women organization.  We also discussed how to overcome the challenges presented, in order to grow and finally, how we as women can come together to enhance the quality of life within the communities in which we live, work and provide community service.
